Company History
Since 2013, Whole Family Health Center has been on a mission to provide quality, compassionate and affordable health care services to those in our community. We started off as ‘Aids Research and Treatment Center of the Treasure Coast’-- an HIV clinic. Under the vision of Dr. Gerald Pierone, a board-certified infectious disease specialist and a group of dedicated individuals, we expanded to become a multi-specialty healthcare practice that provides Primary Care, Pediatrics, Behavioral Health, Pharmacy, patient navigation and transportation services.
Our two clinical sites- in Fort Pierce and Vero Beach, operate as a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation and Federally Qualified Health Center Look Alike (FQHC-LAL). This designation gives the organization additional resources to care for the medically underserved populations in our community. From pediatrics to geriatrics, our compassionate staff from our clinicians to receptionists, aim to provide comprehensive healthcare to our community regardless of the patient’s socio-economic status and ability to pay.
For the calendar year of 2019, WFHC proudly provided services to 6824 patients representing 19,379 medical encounters, 5045 behavioral health visits and 34,428 total prescriptions filled through our pharmacies. To ensure quality and compassionate care is always delivered, we closely evaluate patient satisfaction through reviews and surveys.
